Description

Monitors, advises, and provides training to support compliance infrastructure. Conducts internal audits, evaluates the organizations internal controls and accounting processes.

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

To perform financial; operational and other assigned auditing duties; and other special projects; in the Internal Audit department of a Medical Center dedicated to the care of infants; children and adolescents.

REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES

???Auditing

Aid in the measurement and evaluation of Cincinnati Childrens systems of internal control to determine whether they are operating effectively as designed.
Perform evaluations of safeguards over Cincinnati Childrens assets.
Validate operational compliance with policies, plans, procedures, laws and regulations.
Ensure economical and efficient use of resources.
Consider detection of fraud in planning and conducting audits and give special consideration to areas of high exposure. Document the results of audit testing with clear and concise audit work papers that support initial conclusions.
Utilize data analytics technologies to improve audit efficiency and effectiveness.

???Compliance

Help in monitoring compliance with codes of employee conduct; determine whether job assignments provide for appropriate segregation of functional responsibilities.

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Required:

???Bachelor's Degree in a related field
???No experience required

Preferred:

???Auditing experience in a healthcare setting
