Kaiser Permanente-Washington Permanente Medical Group is seeking a Full Time 1.0 FTE Comprehensive Otolaryngologist to join our South Sound team based in Olympia, Washington, and Tacoma, Washington. Clinical duties will be split between the Olympia and Tacoma locations. The Tacoma and Olympia Medical Centers are multispecialty centers with urgent care, lab, radiology, and pharmacy on site.
The Olympia team consists of 2 Otolaryngologists, 1 Physician Assistant, 1 Registered Nurse, and 2 Medical Assistants. Clinic duties at the location will be 2-3 days per week.
The Tacoma team consists of 4 Otolaryngologists, 1 Physician Assistant, 1 Registered Nurse, and 3 Medical Assistants. Clinical duties at the location will be 1-2 days per week.
Outpatient surgeries will be done at the Tacoma Ambulatory Surgery Center, while inpatient surgeries will be done at St. Joseph's hospital in Tacoma, Washington.
The candidate would join the Tacoma call pool (roughly 1:5-1:6) and cover the South Sound region.
Our team provides care for a broad range of otolaryngologic issues. Our whole department consists of 13 Otolaryngologists and 4 Physician Assistants.
Core Components of this position include:
- Evaluating and managing patients in the outpatient clinic at all points in the care continuum.
- Split clinical duties at the Olympia and Tacoma medical centers.
- Minimally invasive and open cases at the OR suites in Tacoma, Washington.
- Managing inpatients and consults in our partner hospital, St. Joseph's hospital in Tacoma, Washington.
- Shared Call Responsibilities.

Compensation and Benefits
The entire salary range for the clinician position is $411,093 to $483,639 and will be prorated based on FTE. Placement of new hires will be in the range of $411,093 to $459,457 based on factors such as education, training or experience.
