JOB SUMMARY:
The Assistant Vice President of Medical Affairs for the Marshfield and Neillsville Regions reports directly to the Marshfield/Neillsville Vice President of Medical Affairs - Hospital Medical Director (VPMA). This individual will work collaboratively with the VPMA, as well as with other members of the system and local leadership teams, in order to carry out the mission, vision and values of the Marshfield Clinic Health System (MCHS). The Assistant VPMA position will be .8 FTE administrative and .2 FTE clinical.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION
For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.
Minimum Required: Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.).

EXPERIENCE
Minimum Required: Leadership experience. Demonstrated understanding of healthcare and medical economics in managed healthcare and evidence of applying this knowledge in day-to-day activities.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES
The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position. Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position.
Minimum Required: Board certified by the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) or the American Osteopathic Board of Medical Specialties (AOBMS).
