Job Overview
A Patient Care Tech – Health Unit Coordinator (PCT HUC) performs various clerical and patient duties under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse.

What can you expect to do as a PCT HUC?
Collect and record patient Data, record vital signs and assist patients with activities of daily living (ADL)
Answer call lights and complete patient rounds
Assist with completing/maintaining files and forms for admission, transfer, and discharges.
Taking care of patient personal hygiene and assist with patient clean up.
Greet visitors, answer telephones, can track call light response times as needed.
Prepare reports, purchase orders and other projects using computer programs.
Comply with Baylor Scott and White policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS
- EDUCATION - H.S. Diploma/GED Equivalent
- EXPERIENCE - Less than 1 Year of Experience
- CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION - Basic Life Support (BLS): BLS or BLS within 30 days of hire or transfer.
