Job Overview
A Patient Care Tech – Health Unit Coordinator (PCT HUC) performs various clerical and patient duties under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse.

What can you expect to do as a PCT HUC?
- Collect and record patient Data, record vital signs and assist patients with activities of daily living (ADL)
- Answer call lights and complete patient rounds
- Assist with completing/maintaining files and forms for admission, transfer, and discharges.
- Taking care of patient personal hygiene and assist with patient clean up.
- Greet visitors, answer telephones, can track call light response times as needed.
- Prepare reports, purchase orders and other projects using computer programs.
- Comply with Baylor Scott and White policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS
- EDUCATION - H.S. Diploma/GED Equivalent
- EXPERIENCE - Less than 1 Year of Experience
- CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION -
Basic Life Support (BLS): BLS or BLS within 30 days of hire or transfer.
