Overview
Atlantic Health System is seeking a per-diem Radiation Therapist for the Radiation Oncology department at Chilton Medical Center. These are daytime hours between 8:00am to 4:00pm.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
- Deliver radiation treatment to patients under the direction of the Radiation Oncologist.
- Use appropriate immobilization devices to ensure accuracy of patient treatment.
- Review images for technical accurateness.
- Perform quality assurance of the linear accelerator.
- Document patient treatment in the medical record and modify patient appointments in Aria.
- Maintains patient and billing records and performs daily QA on the linear accelerator.
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
- Graduate of an approved Radiation Therapy program.
Minimum Experience:
- 1-3 years experience as a Radiation Therapist preferred.
- Will consider new graduate.
- Knowledge of Varian Trilogy, Aria and Epic preferred.
Licenses/Certifications:
- Must have a current NJ Radiation Therapy license and be ARRT certified.
Qualifications:
- Must have excellent communication skills.
