Unit/Position SummaryUnder direct supervision, the Staffing Scheduling Specialist is responsible for ensuring the department is appropriately staffed. Responsibilities Makes staff allocation/cancellation decisions in accordance with established policy and procedures relating to floating guidelines, pay practices, available/cancellation days, etc. Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff. Possesses beginning to working knowledge of subject matter. Acts as a resource and educator of staff on scheduling principles and the electronic scheduling system.
