OverviewThe Sterile Processing Tech Apprentice Program job is a trainee position subject to the terms and conditions of the program, in addition to the job duties listed here. Responsible for the proper care and handling of all general and specialty instruments including the cleaning, decontamination, instrument identification, assembly, quality inspection, function testing, packaging and distribution, and sterilization of surgical instrumentation. The term of this program encompasses one (1) year of structured on-the-job training, an equivalent of 2,000 worked training hours.
