PRIMARY FUNCTION:To perform patient registration and scheduling in a busy imaging department and/or outpatient office, including obtaining financial and clinical information, insurance data and authorizations.PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Register and schedule patients efficiently and accurately.Obtains identity, insurance and/or workers compensation informationAnswer and route calls in a high imaging department and/or officeChecks and obtains approval for patient safety related items, i.e.- MRI Safety, Pregnancy, etcRequests and obtains medical records in preparation for patient's arrivalObtains and uploads outside studies for comparison for radiologist.Burn CDs, prints
