Pediatric Ophthalmologist
The Department of Ophthalmology at the University of California, San Francisco is seeking a pediatric ophthalmologist to fill a full-time faculty position who will be appointed at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level. The individual will join the pediatric ophthalmology division and be responsible for patient care primarily at the Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland campus, with responsibility for care at other campuses in the East Bay in the future. Oversight of inpatient and emergency room consultations is an important component of the position.
Requirements: Candidates must hold an MD or equivalent degree. Candidates must hold a California medical license or be eligible for full, unrestricted licensure by the time of hire. Candidates must have completed fellowship training in pediatric ophthalmology by the time of hire. Demonstrated teaching competency is essential.
