Overview
Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital offers highly specialized surgical and medical services in an intimate environment and is known for outstanding patient care. With 64 private patient rooms, 14 operating rooms and four intensive care unit rooms, the facility was designed to provide a comforting environment that is innovative, efficient and centered on the patient experience. The Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital (BJWCH) Sleep/EEG Center is an 8 bed lab accredited member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM). Sleep Disorders affect more than 70 million Americans. At BJWCH, we provide excellent patient care and education. Overnight sleep testing is performed in a quiet, dark and safe environment with a focus on service excellence and technical quality by Registered Polysomnographic Technologists.
Preferred Qualifications
Role Purpose
Provide therapeutic, diagnostic, and assessment-related responsibilities within the Sleep Lab department. Ensure quality clinical outcomes in sleep testing procedures performed throughout the Sleep Lab department, and assistance in education and competency of PSG technician trainees. Able to accurately and efficiently complete test analysis (scoring).
