Overview:
40 hrs/wk; 8a-5p, M-F. Columbus Psychiatry Clinic is recruiting a Billing/Coding Specialist who is dedicated, compassionate, and professional to join our fast paced specialty clinic. Primary responsibility is billing of patient claims, AR follow-up, collections, posting payments, medical liens, and bankruptcies. Other duties include but not limited to; assisting customers, answering phones, scheduling appointments, registering patients into EMR system, entering insurance information, scanning documents into the EMR, and verifying insurance benefits for patients. Knowledge of CMS Regulations, Medicaid, healthcare billing and insurance is required. A high school diploma or GED is required. ICD-10, CPT, HCPC’s, Billing and Coding, Business office experience in a medical clinic or hospital setting required.
