SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Directly manage the implementation, stabilization, and support of Epic and/or other healthcare applications and teams. Ensure system functionality is designed and delivered to support clinical, business, and information needs. Engage key clinical, financial services and operational stakeholders to align Information Technology resources to support the organization's goals and objectives. Partner with stakeholders to develop, implement, and maintain software solutions to support optimal care delivery and healthcare operations. Provide information technology operational leadership and support for business and clinical functions.?Work closely with application managers, IS teams, and operational teams to identify changes required in the current workflow, system design, build, and long-term support. Manage the selection, development, and coaching of team members. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

• Bachelor?s Degree with 6 years experience or 10 years of IT and/or education experience required in lieu of degree.
• Minimum of 3 years? experience in a lead or supervisory role or leading Health System initiatives.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):

• Experience leading a team that supports a Laboratory Information System, Blood Bank application, Instrument Manager application, and clinical device integrations. 
• Epic certification preferred. If not certified, must complete Epic certification as assigned in related application within 6 weeks after last training class.
