Millwood Hospital is a 130-bed mental health facility that provides the complete continuum of inpatient and outpatient mental health and chemical dependency treatment to children, adolescents, adults, and senior adults. Our outpatient centers offer a short-term, outpatient treatment alternative in Arlington, Fort Worth and Lewisville.

Position Highlights

• Role: Inpatient General Psychiatrist
• Caseload Flexibility: Choose between an all-adult or mixed adult and adolescent caseload.
• Flexible Work Arrangements: Full-time preferred; Part-time/PRN option available, allowing for work-life balance.
• Manageable Caseload: 10-15 encounters per day, ensuring focused and personalized care.
• Patient Population: Mixed caseload of children/adolescents and adults.
• Primary Duties: Initial psychiatric evaluations, assessments, treatment team leadership, and patient discharges.
• Outpatient PHP Optional: Available via telehealth for additional patient volume (not required).
• No Weekends: Enjoy a schedule with no weekend requirements, promoting a healthy work-life balance.
• Leadership Opportunities: Optional Unit Directorship and monthly stipend available.
• Independent Contractor: 1099 Independent Contractor preferred, providing autonomy in your practice.
