General Neurologist - Jersey City Medical Center

Position Highlights

• Mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities caring for patients with a broad range of neurological conditions, including Alzheimer's disease, dementia, headaches, encephalopathy, demyelinating conditions, and movement disorders.
• Provide comprehensive stroke and general neurology care while maintaining compliance with DNV and quality standards.
• Participate in multidisciplinary committees, patient safety initiatives, and quality improvement efforts.
• Contribute to the development of treatment protocols and evidence-based standards of care.
• Engage in community outreach and education to support divisional growth.
• Shared call responsibilities: 7 days per month.

Candidate Requirements

• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Neurology Fellowship.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of New Jersey.
• Strong communication skills, clinical expertise, and a commitment to excellence in patient care.
• Adherence to established stroke diagnosis, treatment, and documentation protocols.

Compensation

The anticipated salary range for this position if hired to work is $300,000 to $435,000 per year.

The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills, and professional experience.
