Schedule: PRN
Shift: Monday thru Friday 8:30 to 5pm
Location: Travel to patients' homes. Currently covering 6 counties- Bartow, Floyd, Gordon, Catoosa, Whitfield, Murray.
- Delivers personal hygiene and comfort care to patients.
- Assesses skin condition for potential breakdown and communicate findings to the appropriate personnel.
- Completes treatments, procedures, and documentation as directed.
- Establishes and maintains professional interpersonal skills with patients, guests, medical staff, the public, co-workers, and external business associates.
- Demonstrates knowledge of emergency procedures, fire drills, evacuation procedures, and disaster plans.
- Communicates patient care or management problems to appropriate personnel.
- Obtains vital signs per unit policy and reports abnormal findings.
- Seeks guidance from resource personnel when appropriate and functions professionally during emergencies.
- Participates in staff meetings, committees, mandatory in-services, and educational programs relevant to the area of practice.
- Maintains patient privacy and a clean environment.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Demonstrated sympathetic attitude toward care of the sick [Required]

Education:
- High School Grad or Equiv [Preferred]
Field of Study:

Work Experience:
- 1+ employment experience in home health care or as a nurses aide in an institutional setting [Preferred]
