Get to Know Your Team:

• Lovelace Women?s Hospital is a 53-bed advanced neonatal intensive care unit, family care unit, an award-winning breast care center, and the first robotic surgery program in the state recognized as a Center of Excellence in Robotic Surgery by Surgical Review Corporation.

• The LPN is under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Physician, provides direct, safe, appropriate, and effective nursing care to designated patients in accordance with patient needs, current standards of nursing practice, and organizational policies within the scope of LPN Licensure and hospital policy.
• Performs general nursing tasks.
• Adheres to policies and procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.

Job Requirements:

• Graduate from a practical nursing program
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Valid NM Nursing license or NM compact license (within 90 days of hire)

Preferred Job Requirements:

• One (1) year of experience in Emergency Room setting
