POSITION PURPOSE: The Anesthesia Technician functions under the supervision of the Lead Anesthesia technician and Clinical Manager of the surgical suite as well as the Anesthesiologist or Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist. The Anesthesia Technician will expedite, facilitate and support the clinical work done by the anesthesia professional by procuring, assembling, troubleshooting, maintaining and cleaning anesthesia equipment. Anesthesia Technician will perform assigned duties in the Operating Room to assist the surgical and anesthesia team.

Qualifications:EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent. Associate or Baccalaureate degree in healthcare preferred.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
One year experience working as a anesthesia technician or a related healthcare field.
PROFESSIONAL LICENSURE AND CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:
Certified anesthesia tech preferred.
