Summary

Kaiser Permanente-Washington Permanente Medical Group is seeking a full-time (1.0 FTE) Orthopedic Surgeon with focus on total joint arthroplasty to join our Seattle Capitol Hill Medical Center team in Seattle, Washington. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of an integrated care delivery system that prioritizes evidence-based medicine, patient-centered care, and physician collaboration.

Position Highlights:

• Join a team of highly trained orthopedic surgeons and orthopedic physician assistants. Your partners will have subspecialty training in total joints, sports, and hand.
• Practice focused on same-day primary total knee and hip replacements at our ASC, with some revisions performed at Swedish Medical Center at First Hill.
• Supportive, collegial environment with opportunities for mentorship and collaboration.
• Access to state-of-the-art facilities and a coordinated care model that fosters optimal patient outcomes, including an established total joints program of nurse navigators and physical rehabilitation.
• Q7 call, no community call.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary Range: $596,761 to $702,071 (salary will be prorated based on FTE, new hire salaries will be based on factors such as education, training and experience.)

New Hire Incentives:

• Signing Bonus: New Hires are eligible to receive a 10% sign-on bonus
• Relocation Allowance: Up to $13,000 (based on location at time of offer)

Qualifications:

• Required: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
• Preferred Experience: Fellowship trained in Total Joint and experience with revision arthroplasty is required.
• Ability to obtain: Unrestricted Federal DEA
• Ability to obtain: WA State Medical License
