The University of Kansas School of Pharmacy invites applications for a full-time (12-month), clinical track faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level based in Lawrence, Kansas.
This position plays a key role in advancing the School's mission through teaching, scholarship, and service, with opportunities to impact learners across KU's campuses.
Position Highlights
Start Date:
August 2026
Salary: Commensurate with experience
Appointment: Clinical (non-tenure track) faculty
Occasional travel across KU campuses (Lawrence, Kansas City, Wichita). Key Responsibilities Teaching (75%)
Deliver instruction in didactic and active-learning (lab) courses
Coordinate courses and support student assessment and remediation
Teach pharmacy skills and elective courses
Lead and coordinate the Pharmacy Summer Camp and student activities.
Service (15%)
Participate in University, School, and professional committees
Advise student organizations
Engage in professional and community outreach.
Scholarship (10%)
Engage in practice-based research and scholarly activity
Publish and present work at professional meetings.
Required Qualifications
PharmD (or equivalent terminal pharmacy degree)
Minimum 3 years of pharmacy practice experience
Kansas pharmacist licensure (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
Immunization certification
Demonstrated ability to teach in didactic and experiential settings
Eligibility to work in the U.S.
