St. Johnsbury Pediatrics at Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital (NVRH) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Medical Office Secretary to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical terminology and excellent customer service skills, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills.

Duties and responsibilities will include:

* Communicating with patients in person and over the phone

* Coordinating patient care and referrals

* Maintaining patient records

* Scheduling, canceling appointments and maintaining patient flow

* Ensuring accurate demographic and insurance information for patients

* Handling communications, including mail and telephone
