ABOUT LIJ VALLEY STREAM

Join a stable and collaborative team of 6 full-time anesthesiologists and 7 full-time CRNAs at Long Island Jewish
Valley Stream, an orthopedic-focused community hospital. Here, clinical autonomy thrives within a dynamic,
collaborative care-team model. Our high-volume joint replacement and orthopedic service emphasizes advanced
regional anesthesia, with a strong culture of peripheral nerve block excellence that allows you to practice at the top of
your skill set. In addition to orthopedics, our anesthesiologists support a diverse and growing case mix including robotic general surgery, urology, vascular, and thoracic procedures offering both depth and variety in daily practice. Our institution’s reputation for quality is unmatched.

• Rare Weekend Obligations: Recharge with a 1:6 weekend rotation—working just one weekend every six weeks.
• Generous Holiday Time: Enjoy 7 out of 8 major holidays off each year.
• Predictable Weekday Call: Standard rotation of approximately one "First Call" and one "Late Call" per week.
• Enhanced Evening Support: Benefit from extended CRNA coverage, with two CRNAs on-site until 7:00 PM to help wrap up the day's cases.
