OmniSeq by Labcorp is seeking a licensed Medical Laboratory Scientist (CLS/MLS/MLT/CLT) to join our Biopharma services team in Buffalo, NY.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 1st shift (may later be 4 x10's)
PRIMARY DUTIES
- Support testing as part of clinical trial assays and contract research agreements.
- Process blood and tissue samples provided to the laboratory as needed for various projects.
- Perform macrodissection on FFPE.
- Record and analyze data to ensure QA/QC at each workflow step; ensures completeness and accuracy of data
- Extract and quantify RNA and DNA using manual and automated processes.
- Prepare extracted RNA and DNA to be tested with Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS).
- Perform NGS testing using manual and automated processes.
- Interact with other departments, collaborators, and clients in a professional manner.
- Perform instrument maintenance and troubleshooting when necessary.
- Maintain a clean, safe, well stocked work environment in accordance with molecular standards and wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Utilize Laboratory Information Management Systems for tracking and documenting patient samples and processes.
- Other duties as needed.?
REQUIRED LICENSURE, EDUCATION
- Associates or higher in Medical Laboratory Technology or related discipline required
- Valid NYS professional license prior to starting
Pay Range: $32.00 - $39.00
All job offers will be based on a candidate?s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
